Park Hae Joon in Talks for New Drama from ‘My Mister’ Writer

Actor Park Hae Joon is reportedly in talks to join the upcoming K-drama “Everyone Is Fighting Their Own Worthlessness.” He may star alongside Koo Kyo Hwan and Go Youn Jung, who are also currently reviewing offers for the lead roles.

The new series comes from the acclaimed writer Park Hae Young, known for hit dramas like “My Liberation Notes” and “My Mister,” and will be directed by Cha Young Hoon, who directed “When the Camellia Blooms” and “Welcome to Samdal-ri.” If Park Hae Joon accepts the role, it will mark a reunion with writer Park Hae Young, with whom he previously worked on “My Mister.”

Set against the backdrop of the film industry, the drama will explore people’s struggles with feelings of worthlessness.

According to reports, filming is scheduled to begin next month (October 2025), with the drama expected to air on JTBC next year.

This potential role follows a busy year for Park Hae Joon, who has starred in several 2025 dramas, including the currently airing Disney+ series “Tempest.”1
